And so it's February

January was nothing short of playing "beat the clock" every single minute of the day. Going into the New Year after the Holiday Season is rough for us. Eric needs recover time after logging long hours away at the wine shop while Ali's in full 2016 planning swing in addition to closing out the 2015 books. Right now, life feels like we're swimming through Maverick size waves with all to accomplish early this year.  

"How can I help your new winery where it matters most?'... we are fortunate to hear this question often from our loyal followers. Frankly, "Buy our Wine" is the best answer.  Second best -  is help us spread the word, word of mouth is everything to our new winery...tell your favorite restaurants about us, show a picture of our wine to your favorite wine shop steward, order our wines where ever you see them, write a review of our wines on the many wine review sites such a Delectable or Vivino. But the final answer is...keep doing what you're doing - we wouldn't be anywhere without your support and enthusiasm. 

So what's next for us? Bottling, Importing our German Wines, Organizing our Spring Releases, Market Visits, May 14 Anniversary party planning...oh and all the usual monthly and weekly admin stuff that is crucial to our small business. Too much to type really, but no complaints here, it's all quite thrilling and fulfilling to bring our beautiful wines to you. 

Please look for our wines over the coming months in new markets...Canada, UK, Chicago, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Virginia and DC...oh and Hawaii, we so want our wines to be available in this very special place for Smith Story Wine Cellars! 

2016...let's do this!  This is Our Story.
