Welcome to the Smith Story Wine Cellars Spring 2016 Release!
We're still floating after the reviews by Antonio Galloni last week - "These are the first wines I have tasted from Smith Story. Ross Cobb and Katy Wilson make the wines for industry veterans Eric Story and Alison Smith-Story in a style that emphasizes freshness and energy." We believe Antonio captured our vision during this first tasting of our wines, we are so focused on producing serious fine wine with abounding vibrancy!
Today, we are thrilled to offer our newest releases...
Mailing List Members Click here to purchase your allocations:
2015 Sauvignon Blanc, Sonoma County $25, 535 cases.
Our 2015 Smith Story Sauvignon Blanc is soaring with lively aromas of citrus and wet stone. Seriously seductive enough to make you play hooky on a sunny spring day. Like the 2014, it’s quite vibrant and a crisp white wine balanced with ripeness and acidity.
2015 Lakota's View Sémillon, Sonoma Mountain $40, 70 cases.
Our fastest selling wine last year..the new 2015 Lakota's View Sémillon is a "drop the mic" victory. A gorgeous classic Sémillon. We dare say that we like it more than the 2014!
2014 Thorn Ridge Pinot Noir, Sonoma Coast $75, 100 cases.
Elegant, alluring, exotic, a brilliant wine. The most anticipated Pinot Noir of our Inaugural 2014 Smith Story Wine Cellars Harvest. We are sorta freaking out about this wine, it's #nextlevel Pinot Noir from the far West Sonoma Coast.
The Storytellers Wine Club Members, you do not need to purchase via allocations, your wines are reserved. Please see details about The Storytellers levels and benefits here. The Storyteller Wine Club members will be charged and shipped (weather permitting) on March 14, 2016 for the Spring 2016 Release shipment.
**And by all means, anyone can join the Wine Club during this allocations period too.
How Allocations Work:
The 21 day allocation period runs from February 16, 2016 to March 7, 2016. Unfortunately, allocation quantities are not guaranteed, production levels are small and may sell out faster than anticipated. If allocations do not appear in your account, please email us (ericandali@smithstorywines.com). We’re the IT department too and sometimes we don’t get this part 100% right (and the reason this email was delayed at day too!).
Shipping Notes:
We strongly recommend shipping to a business address as this helps avoid possible delivery delays. The Spring Release will begin shipping March 14, weather permitting. If we determine it is too hot/cold along the delivery route to ship safely, we will place your order on "weather hold," notify you, and keep your wines in our temperature controlled warehouse until we see it is safe to ship. You will be notified by email when your order ships or if it is placed on weather hold.
We can hardly stand the wait...you are going to love this epic wine release as much as we do, we just know it. Don't hesitate to reach out to us with any questions... ericandali@smithstorywines.com
Most sincerely,
- Eric and Ali Story
